Automatically tags entire libraries

Launch the automatic tagging process for all documents in a library (or a subset) in the "Tag documents"-dialog. Inspect the tagging progress and check the tagging report after the process has completed.

Assisted manual tagging

Open the "Tag document"-dialog to provide individual documents with tags and review the recommended tags for each managed metadata column. Each tag recommendation comes with a confidence level or explanation.

Manage taggers for libraries

You can assign taggers to individual libraries, which automatically tag documents contained in that library. Taggers run according to a schedule (e.g. each full hour, day, week etc) or can be launched manually. You specify for each tagger where it retrieves tagging recommendations from, i.e. built-in predictors to detected the document language, to extract important terms and to learn from user generated tags.

Use tags in refinement filters in search pages

You can easily extend the search refiners on your search pages in order to use the newly created tags to refine your search results, e.g. to find documents which use a particular language, or use particular important terms. You can also refine for tags that have been generated as if a user would have created them. This helps users to be able to find documents much quicker.

Manage predictors

Predictors are intelligent assistants, that are optimised to analyse documents for particular aspects, e.g. the document language, important terms or to learn from user generated tags. The Easy Tagging App provides a dialog where you adopt predictors for your particular situation and monitor their performance when they are trained (to learn user generated tags).

Built-in machine learning capabilities

State-of-the-art machine learning algorithms are capable of learning from the way your libraries are tagged, and to reflect this acquired knowledge to automatically tag new documents similarly. The Easy Tagging App let's you inspect the "success rate" of your predictor during training and to tweak parameters to achieve optimal prediction rates for new documents.

Analyses office documents, pdf and even scans

The Easy Tagging App is able to extract text and information from Microsoft Office file formats word, excel, txt, pdf and text contained in document scans, like png.

Installation

Install the Easy Tagging App

1. Download the "Easy Tagging App" for Sharepoint online/Office 365 from the DIQA home page (request your copy here Free evaluation copy).
2. Upload the "Easy Tagging App" into the App catalogue of your Office 365 tenant.
3. Install the "Easy Tagging App" into a website of your Sharepoint online instance.

Prepare your Sharepoint tenant

Since the Easy Tagging App is not available from the Office Store yet, you have to grant permission to the "IDAS Service" in your tenant:

1. Open the page “AppRegNew.aspx” in your website from above (e.g. https://diqa.sharepoint.com/sites/develop_apps_en/_layouts/15/AppRegNew.aspx)
2. Enter into "client id": 30f056e5-0a03-4d99-8116-fdbc496e9095
3. Enter into "client secret": tBHaF8TSbASxaBAOkrtxw5O5r1MG+ex1RwOjt+scySA=
4. Enter into "App domain": idas-eval.westeurope.cloudapp.azure.com
5. Enter into "Re-direct url": https://idas-eval.westeurope.cloudapp.azure.com/idas/Acceptredirect.aspx
6. Submit the form

1. Open the page “AppInv.aspx” in your website from above (e.g. https://diqa.sharepoint.com/sites/develop_apps_en/_layouts/15/AppInv.aspx)
2. Enter the client id and click “Lookup”: 30f056e5-0a03-4d99-8116-fdbc496e9095
3. The form should reload automatically and contain values for each field.
4. Enter in the field "App's Permission Request XML":

NOTE: the steps above are not required if you have obtained the Easy Tagging App from the Office Store.

Open the Eas Tagging App

1. Open the Easy Tagging App in your Sharepoint site and follow the virtual assistant which guides you through the evaluation process.

The App is currently not available for Sharepoint onpremise.
